THE REGENERATION CHALLENGE
A capability has been lost. Can you bring it back?
Stockpiles run out. Starter cultures don't. Explore what happens when a distributed network must recover a capability it can no longer rely on.
Canada is the crucible and Case Study Zero for this doctrine — never the whole scope. Lineage: Poison Shrimp (Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore 1966) → Porcupine (Singapore, early 1980s) → Sourdough Paradigm (Crumly, Canada 2026).
Video backgrounds: FLOW-01 Proof Gate + FLOW-04 TPC Compilation, muted, looped. Illustrative, not evidence. Paused under prefers-reduced-motion.
◉
Scenario 1 — The Lost Production Cell
A critical production cell has been destroyed. Its function, equipment or operators are no longer available.
Mission: Regenerate the missing capability.
Four actions: Get the UCR → Learn it → Lose a cell → Regenerate
⬢
Scenario 2 — The Supply Cutoff
A critical material, component or supply route has disappeared.
Mission: Restore the resource pathway or establish a viable alternative.
Four actions: Trace the cutoff → Find a substitute → Reroute the supply → Test and restore the pathway
◎
Scenario 3 — The Missing Expertise
Experienced operators are gone. Documentation survives, but practical competence may not.
Mission: Reconstruct and independently verify the missing competence.
Four actions: Recover the documentation → Practice it → Get it mentored / drilled → Prove it independently
⬣
Scenario 4 — The Compound Crisis
Multiple cells, resources and network connections fail simultaneously.
Mission: Coordinate a system-wide recovery.
Four actions: Triage the failures → Prioritize what recovers first → Coordinate the network → Reintegrate system-wide
The physical layer — Flow clips
Five short clips, generated with Google Flow (Veo 3.1 Lite), compressed for the web, audio stripped. They show the physical side of the model — hands, steel, testing — while the Challenge itself stays SVG and text. A clip is an illustration, not evidence.
FLOW-01 — Proof GateProof Gate: independent verification, unassisted. A weld is tested, not taken on trust.FLOW-02 — UCR Sensory MapUCR: sensory capture and drill practice — what a skilled hand actually does, recorded so it can be taught.FLOW-04 — TPC Physical CompilationTPC: making it for real — energy, material, geometry, time, competence, verification. One missing gate blocks it.FLOW-05 — TPC FailureTPC failure: when a gate fails, the operation stops. A crack is a BLOCKED result, not a near-miss.Film 1, Shot 1 — The Single PointThe Missing Expert: a capability that lives in one person's hands. If that person leaves, does the capability leave too?
